Tenders in many cases involve the manipulation and distribution of large volumes of documents and information to selected bidders. As technology has progressed and electronic media has come to dominate the way in which we communicate and share information, the need for systems to support tendering procedures through electronic means has become critical.

Modern day construction and engineering projects are under ever increasing pressure to meet tight execution deadlines and cost constraints. As such, supply chains must become ever more focused on the tasks and deliverables associated with their specific role on projects. FusionLive Desktop integrates the FusionLive platform with Microsoft Windows Explorer. It connects directly to the platform over an internet connection. Since all FusionLive security protocols are enforced, you must identify yourself with your login and password before you can access any of your workspaces. All your workspaces are available in a standard Microsoft Explorer® window. You can navigate, according to your security rights, through the FusionLive workspaces and folders using the standard windows explorer interface. It will be like navigating on your hard drive when in fact you will be navigating on FusionLive with one distinction. All of your actions will be recorded in the system audit trail.
